| Quake Lords won against the Cyber Temple Clan (DeCL-Match) thursday! Was a nice first map [won by QL 45:46]. The seconde map was dominated by QL [won by 32:107]. For the QL-Team Abraxas, Firefox, MadDoc and Mirror fought the battle. We are not qualified for the next DeCL-Round, so this was the last match in this DeCL season for the QL-Team :-( Ok, we try to fight better in the next season! Count on us -)) |

| Quake Lords won a DeCL-Match yesterday! Was a good fight against Gladiators of Death [GoD]. In this war Q2dm1 was choosen by both sides. For the QL-Team Abraxas, Iceman, MadDoc and Shadow fought the battle. We won the first map 70:83 [MadDoc told me that he loved this run -)] and the second map 45:105 ['cause good old Iceman goes through GoD like there is no tomorrow-)]. Welcome back Iceman, very impressive comeback! Next DeCL match is against GoV, hope we have the luck on our side. Thanks to the noble fighters from MTW (special to MTW|Fritz) for providing the BG-Server. [All other where busy or laggy yesterday]. Did I mention that I saw our new skins?? They look wonderful -)) It's a question of days until we can wear our new uniform! |

| Quake Lords lost the first DeCL War. It was a great fight against the 'Space Marine Troopers' [SMT]. We played Q2dm1 (won by SMT 90:57) and Q2dm8 (won by SMT 70:69). | Quake Lords won against the Gladiators of Death [GoD] yesterday! It was a good fight and GoD are fair players. We won both maps, well done Mirror, Iceman, Garak and MadDoc. It was the first war for Garak in our ranks and he did it -) GoD asked for a rematch and yes, they are welcome. Keep in mind, that the QL Server goes down on 01.11.98 in support for the Internet-Strike against the 'Deutsche Telekom'. |

| Quake Lords won against Clan 'The 5th Element' yesterday. It was a good fight (for both sides). We won both maps with a damn good run in Q2dm1. It was the first war with Mirror and .... wooooohoooo, well done Mirror!! The 5th asked for a rematch and we hope we play it next month. Special thanx go to RK and Paingod, both went heavyly wounded in the war (they have the flu)! The QL server runs new versions of Battleground and Lithium Mod. Hope we get rid of this damn cheaters. QuakeLords join the 'ZBot go home' initiative. Ahhh my Voodoo2 is gone! It died [overheated] saturday morning, so i can't play in the war. Hope we see T-Beutel and Flash there, too -) We have changed the mod at port 27911 ! Now Rocket Arena 2 is running on this port ... We get some messages about Arena and here it is ... I played it yesterday and its very funny [of course i crushed MadDoc and thats very funny too!!! LOL (sorry Doc .. cant resist)]. Ok, didn't look so great the first minutes, but give it a few rounds and you play it every day -)) Hehe think you encounter MadDoc there soon, he needs a uhhh say little more practice -)) MadDoc erased some maps from the level loop (as you desired). If you know a damn good map we didn't play right now, write to MadDoc or Iceman and we take a close look. |

We play new custom maps on the Lithium Mod Server, so please download the ones you don't have from our files page [easy, isn't it???] For all new players ... the maps must go to the base2maps directory ! Jo ... yesterday we changed to a new Mod on the server! Now we play King of the Hill on port 27911 [Q2.ruhr.de:27911], try it ... its a funny game! | Good news to tell: QL-Iceman is back on his feet!!! After so many weeks he needs a few days training befor he goes into war again. A cool targets for Iceman's rocket skills were easy to find, we choose 'Kathaan' to do the job [LOL]. You ask why Kathaan??? Ok, take a close look here !!! Hey Kathaan, nice picture .... think I'm looking damn good -)) Hmmm, this is the last day I [MadDoc] write the news, Ice is back and I'm happy that he takes over this part. Woohoo!!. We have a new Mod installed on the serverport 27911 called 'ThunderWalker2' ... It's a CTF Mod based on Zoids CTF. You need a client to play it, so take a look at the Thunderwalker Home -) By the way ... the Mod on Port 27911 changes from time to time [currently between FREEZE, TW2 and Holywars]!!! |

| The QL - Server ward off the attack that was started yesterday against many of the Q2-Server all around the net!!!! Hehehe our Server-Admin-Team is as fast as QL-Polos with the Launcher [LOL]. Thanx from us to Sascha from Ping.De and the Ruhr.De admins for the quick info, so the Lords were alarmed!!! But after the good news here are the bad ones ..... QL-Polos left the Quake Lords today. Good luck Polos maybe we meet from time to time and exchange some rockets -)) Ql-Iceman is on the way back to life!!! Think he was railed to much from POD-Climax [maybe it was one of POD-Biochip's rockets] but now he recovers well from the wounds he's taken. Rumors said, that QL-MadDoc had arranged a set of his finest rockets and (crazy) he wrote a word on every of them ... Do someone know a guy called 'Kathaan' ???? |

We were challenged by Clan Stormeagle and we look forward to fight with Stormeagle soon. We didn't have a confirmation about a war this weekend from Commander Sloth, but we all hope that we meet this weekend! Good to hear that there will be 1 or 2 wars this weekend against other clans. Maybe RDA are ready for a damn good fight with us (I hope so) ... Azgoth from Clan SG asked for a war too and YES we can do it this weekend!!! Azgoth please use our challenge page if you read this ... If YOU want a challenge too .... think this is a great war weekend for QL and maybe we can have a fight with your clan too ...... Some rumors said, his teachers saw him fighting on Aeons Server and let him pass by without problems. Quake Lords lost the war against the P.O.D.-Clan (Ping Of Death)!!!! It was a great battle (our first teamplay here in europe). POD won first map, Quake Lords take the second map!!! But total count was against us! So it is officialy a LOST !
